FAQ

We're here to help, so if you've never been to a chiropractor, relax! We'll gather important information about you, your medical history, and the nature of your condition. Be sure to bring any x-rays, MRIs, or other reports with you. We will follow this by a physical examination:  This is to find out where and what hurts! And note that your first visit requires the time to properly assess you and typically takes a bit longer than follow up visits because of the paperwork for you to fill out, the consultation to conduct, and the examination to perform.

How does the first visit work?

Forms that provide information about you and specific information your condition will help us to help you. Come prepared to fill them out completely including info about any other doctors you have seen or tests you have had, and any medications you take.

How is treatment started?

During your consultation we'll discuss your health concerns and the available treatment options.

What's needed from me?

In order to tailor care to you, we will ask you questions related to your condition and how it is affecting you. A variety of tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.

Will i need X-Rays or MRIs?

Your specific condition may require x-rays or MRI to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in assessing the most effective treatment plan for you.

How do i care for my condition after leaving your office?

Before leaving you will be given instructions on certain activities to avoid or steps to take between visits.

How often should i visit?

Regular treatment is essential to the process. We work our treatments around your schedule. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days of their initial visit and are provided with a complete review of findings. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed at this time.
